Liquefied gas is under high pressure when transported and pumped into the pipelines. The gas is highly flammable. The measurement technology employed must therefore comply with the regulations relating to use in a potentially explosive environment. LPG is normally traded in mass and so custody transfer certified metering skids based on mass flow meters are the best option.
