LNG is natural gas that has been cooled to –260° F (–162° C), changing it from a gas into a liquid that is 1/600th of its original volume. This dramatic reduction allows it to be shipped safely and efficiently aboard specially designed LNG vessels. It is very difficult to design using Cryogenic piping; refers to systems that are used in a wide range of industrial applications that require extremely low temperatures, generally around -300°F (150°C) or lower. Due to such low temperatures, cryogenic pipes face unique corrosion and deterioration challenges. LNG metering skid required proper temperature controlled insulation and cladding and we are using extended bonnet Valves for this application.
